Controlling Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) Without Chemo

My mom who’s 63 doesn’t like visiting her doctor regularly.  One day while shopping, she felt so dizzy and complained about shortness of breath.  I was forcing her to see her doctor, but she kept on ignoring me until she experienced nose bleeding.  She was rushed to the ER and several laboratory tests and medical procedures were performed (blood, x-ray, ultrasound, lymph node excision, and bone marrow aspirate + biopsy) before a diagnosis was finalized — the specialist said she had Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia or what most people call “CLL”, a blood cancer that is slow progressing.

Her RBC, hemoglobin, and platelets were way below normal values; her WBC elevated and her spleen enlarged.  She had to be nebulized twice a day for minor pneumonia.  For 2 weeks the doctors were trying to bring up her platelet count through blood transfusions in preparation for “actual treatment”; but the highest they’ve gone was 11,000.  My mom got so stressed and asked the specialist if she can just take the medications at home… the doctor said she couldn’t be discharged unless her platelets go up to at least 20,000 because there’s a danger of bleeding.  Two days later, there was still no improvement on her CBC so my mom told the doctor that she will go home whether they allow her or not — she was then discharged on the 10th day.  She went home being administered with Prednisone, Rifampicin, Omeprazole; and along with those medications she took her usual vitamins and supplements for the liver and bones.

The specialist’s treatment plan is for her to undergo 6 cycles of chemotherapy (which the former said was the only effective treatment), but I was hesitant in moving forward because I’ve heard a lot of not-so-good stories about people who went through chemo.  Besides, I knew in my heart that God is still in the healing business and will surely heal my mom who’s always been faithful to Him.  Mom also didn’t want it because of its side effects so she delayed her medical consultations and instead focused on alternative medicine.  With God’s guidance, we came across helpful people, websites, and forums that led us to effective means.  Mom found these alternative treatments (in the order we explored them) to be beneficial to her:

  • Vita Drink – Made up of 5 nutritional vegetables for the prevention and maintenance of over 40 diseases including several types of cancer.  This has helped in maintaining her RBC and hemoglobin levels.  Platelets increased to about 15,000 and stayed within the 20s.
  • Electroacupuncture – EA uses the same meridians as traditional acupuncture, but uses a small device that clips onto the needles.  The device sends electric pulses that the acupuncturist can adjust depending on the intensity needed. Initial therapy done twice a week, then down to once a week after a month.  Platelets increased and stayed within the 40s.
  • Papaya Juice — Extracted from organic papaya leaves taken in the morning and at night.  The results are quite inconsistent and I say this because when we tried it the first time (before the EA therapy) for 2 weeks, there was no improvement in her platelet counts.  However, when we tried again on her second month of EA, platelets increased to the 80s.
  • Guyabano Fruit & Tea — The National Cancer Institute performed the first scientific research on guyabano in 1976. The results showed that its leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells and is found to be 10,000 times stronger than chemotherapy.  She eats one regular-sized fruit a day and has been drinking the tea as often as she could — so far the results are great!

And of course, prayers and devotion every single day… God is the greatest doctor! She also changed her eating habits from a greasy past to a healthy present — no more fried and commercial food.  Lots of green leafy vegetables, fruits, and water.  From her initial bloodwork of WBC 53, hemoglobin 5, RBC 1.93, and platelets 3… now everything is within normal range even though she did not undergo chemotherapy.  Isn’t the Lord amazing? With faith, Jesus tells us that “Nothing will be impossible for you”.

It is so funny that another specialist thought that my mom underwent chemotherapy upon seeing her bloodwork history.  If she had undergone chemo, she would have just wasted her hard-earned money and didn’t get to experience the joy of receiving God’s miraculous healing.  It really pays to trust the Lord all the time!

please tell me what to do. my husband is having myelofibrosis and just like your mom the blood levels are low. since, late december last year i let him drink mangagaw “boiled roots” and just this weekend a friend introduced to me and instructed me to boil guyabano leaves. we are scheduled to visit his doctor this week and i hope he will have his blood levels improved especially his RBC which is low making us go to the hospital more often for his transfusion. please tell me more on how to go about this problem. take care and God bless . . . stella
